Rob Falconer
Rob is currently Principal at Ohoka School, he is now in his 8th year. Rob has been in the teaching profession for 29 years. In that time he has taught across the full spectrum of the primary school. Teaching has taken Rob to many places from Christchurch where he first started, Tokoroa , to the West Coast, back to Christchurch and finally to Ohoka. Rob finds teaching a very exciting profession to be in. He enjoys working at Ohoka school, particularly because the teachers are very passionate towards education, the children are so eager to learn and the community are very friendly and committed to the school. He notes the past 140th jubilee celebrations as evidence of this. Rob has returned from a secondment to the Education Review Office (ERO) for the Southern Region where he fulfilled the role of review officer. This will be an exciting year as he brings to Ohoka the wealth of experience and ideas gathered from the schools he visited. |
